Maya Cosmetics, a young American company, will present a halal-compliant nail polish at the Moscow Halal Expo, which will be held from November 16 to 18, 2017.

Halal cosmetics are becoming increasingly popular among women. When it comes to beauty products, Halal standards mean that the products do not contain alcohol or animal-derived ingredients during the manufacturing process and are not tested on animals.

However, halal nail polish must have one property - it must be breathable, or at least water-permeable, so that Muslim women do not need to scrape it off before each prayer.

As a young American company, Maya Cosmetics is the first to meet all global market standards. The company launched its first product in 2016. Its product range now includes 30 nail polishes and 10 accessories. The company was founded by two friends, Javed Younis and Bilal Saeed. Javed, the company's head, has a background in the beauty industry.

Maya Cosmetics products are certified by IFANCA, the largest halal certification body in the United States and one of the most renowned in the world. Laboratory tests have also proven that the nail polish is breathable. This represents a high-quality product specifically designed for salon customers.

Within a year of its launch, the brand has already entered 30 countries, including the UK, Malaysia, and Pakistan, and is now planning to showcase its products in Russia. According to Madina Kalimullina, managing partner of the Moscow Halal Expo, announcements about the brand on social networks sparked interest among Russian Muslim women, many of whom have placed orders and provided positive feedback.

The company's founders will meet visitors at the Lifestyle Salon during the Moscow Halal Expo 2017. The exhibition will be held from November 16 to 18 at the Sokolniki Exhibition Center.

Halal product manufacturers and suppliers from 40 countries will participate in the 2017 Moscow Halal Exhibition.
