UK: Halal Authority Europe (HCE) receives GAC recognition
2025-05-15
Halal Certification Europe (HCE) announced today that it has received accreditation from the GAC Accreditation Centre. GAC accreditation from the Gulf States Council ensures a strong foundation of international standardization for its Halal standards. Through GAC accreditation, we are also registered with ESMA (UAE).
Established in 1992, HCE - Halal Certification Authority is the UK's first non-profit organization dedicated to serving Halal consumers. By becoming a Halal certification authority, HCE takes this opportunity to return to its original purpose. HCE is pleased to demonstrate its commitment to being a pioneer in Halal standards. JAKIM and MUI are grateful to GAC and MUI for their commitment to increasing the systematic approach to ensuring Halal standards.
HCE is proud of this achievement, demonstrating its compliance with the rigorous standards set by the GAC, and hopes this will be the beginning of a very fruitful collaboration. This certification is a significant milestone in achieving HCE's most stringent standards and continuously improving HCE's practices; it reflects HCE's commitment, dedication, and investment in achieving global industry halal standards. We hope this will be the beginning of a fruitful relationship that strengthens halal communities around the world through shared halal standards, goals, and ideals. In doing so, HCE hopes to better serve halal producers and consumers.
