Muslims holidaying in Hong Kong can now completely put any concerns they have about halal food to rest.
It is now easier to find restaurants that have been issued Halal certificates by the Trusted Islamic Community Foundation registered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The island's chief imam, Mufti Mohammad Asad, said the restaurants would offer services across the city.
He added that Muslims would also easily find plenty of places to perform prayers such as Jamia Mosque, Kowloon Mosque, Ammar Mosque and Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre.
Hong Kong's Muslim community has a history of more than a century and is estimated to number 220,000.
