Indonesia showcases halal products at the Taiwan International Halal Certification Exhibition
To promote the market for Indonesian halal-certified products, the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Trade will participate in the Taiwan International Halal Exhibition through the Indonesian Bureau of External Trade and Economic Cooperation in Taipei.
The three-day expo, hosted annually by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (Taiwan External Trade Development Council), will be held at the Taipei World Trade Center from June 22nd to 25th. It will feature food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, and health and beauty products, all made with ingredients and production processes that comply with Islamic law.
According to Tjahya Widayanti of the Directorate General of International Export Development, Taiwan is an important hub for promoting halal-certified products in the Asia-Pacific region.
We hope that this exhibition will enhance the image of Indonesian halal-certified products in the international market, especially in Taiwan, as Taiwan is committed to developing a competitive halal-certified product market.
Tjahya hopes to increase the export volume of Indonesian halal-certified products, adapt to the growing demand from around the world, especially in Taiwan, and take a step forward in global economic development integration.
There will be 12 Indonesian exhibitors in the exhibition, with the common theme of "Foreign Trade with Attractive Indonesia", and exhibitors covering food, cosmetics, etc.
