The government is urged to formulate policies favorable to the halal industry, aiming to reach $5-6 billion in exports within a few years. This was stated during a multi-sector stakeholder dialogue on "Incentivizing Transformations for Export-Oriented Halal Trade and Industry," organized by Global Halal Services (Pvt.) Ltd.

He stated that halal meat is one of the fastest-growing markets globally, contributing 16% to world trade, and that Pakistan, as a Muslim nation, should capitalize on this opportunity. He emphasized that halal meat exports should specifically target China, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Central Asian countries, rather than confining them to Arab countries. He urged the government to mobilize all agencies dedicated to promoting halal food exports to fully realize the industry's export potential. He emphasized that the government should designate special halal meat zones and provide them with 10-year tax incentives to attract new investment in the sector.
