Introduction of Halal Research Committee
2025-05-15
The Halal Research Council is a global organization that conducts Halal certification and review work to meet the needs of the food and nutrition industry, especially fast-moving consumer goods.
The Halal Research Committee, a team of highly qualified certified food technologists, chemical engineers, and R&D experts, conducts research and assessments on halal certification, examining the source of ingredients, inspecting the entire supply chain, and conducting chemical testing and analysis to determine if the ingredients in the products comply with halal regulations.
With increasing awareness of food nutrition, halal certification is becoming increasingly demanding. The Halal Food Research Council is proud to serve the halal food and non-food markets worldwide. While the ingredients used in a product are often clearly labeled on the packaging, the origin of the ingredients is often not. This is crucial for consumers; they should be able to access the ingredients' provenance.
